Mela Nordic is a South Asian cultural organisation based in the Nordics. It was started in 2025 by a group of South Asians living in Sweden who felt that there was a lack of visibility of South Asian art and culture in northern Europe. Our aim is to bring important topics like human rights and politics in south Asia to the global attention while also celebrating the cultural and artistic diversity of the subcontinent.
