On 26 April 2025 Mela Nordic and The Lund International Tagore Choir filled ABF Malmö with the songs of Rabindranath Tagore.
The choir sang original Bengali songs by Tagore, the poet, composer and Nobel laureate whose music is still sung across Bangladesh and India today. After the concert the audience could ask the choir about the songs, the language and what it means to sing Tagore in Sweden.
Thank you to the choir and to everyone who came and made it such a warm evening.
